    How to get to Mesta from the city of Chios

    VIA CAR OR MOTORBIKE: By your own means of transportation, or by renting one from the center of Chios, it is an ideal way to reach Mesta! The streets are new and the route is comfortable and enjoyable!
    Route: The best and easiest route (comfortable road, excellent road signing) from the port of Chios to Mesta is through the villages of Olympi and Pyrgi, and lasts about 40 minutes.
    Rental rates: The rates for car rental from the center of Chios, start from 25 € / day on low season, and reach up to 35 € / day on high season (upon availability).
    Note: It is better to book a car before arriving on the island, especially on high season, as availability may be limited.

    BY BUS: Chios is connected to Mesta by interurban buses, which operate daily routes, passing through the villages of Olympi and Pyrgi. During the high season there are ferry routes to and from the beach of Mavra Volia.

    Ticket Cost: 4,20 €

    Note: Intercity buses do not operate on weekends and public holidays, while on low season perform limited routes.

    TAXI: It is quite easy to find a taxi at Chios Port or at the airport; Mesta also has taxies.
    Cost: The cost of the taxi route varies between 40 € to 50 €.
    Note: If you want to arrange a taxi tour or island tour, special agreements can be made, for cost per hour.
