Mavra Volia: Attraction-beach, cosmopolitan and volcanic

An unregulated beach with a special volcanic figure! It is the most famous beach of Chios, which is distinguished by the impressive black pebbles, the rocky formations and the accessible rocks that can be used for diving! An attraction beach on its own, with crystal clear blue waters and unparalleled views, included in the last years among the 10 best beaches of Greece!
Access: Mavra Volia beach is located in the village of Pyrgi, 17 km from Mesta and is easily accessible by car, or motorbike from the asphalt road.
Food: Within walking distance of the port of Emporios, there are taverns for meat and fish and cafes for coffee and drinks.
Note: Although unregulated, Mavra Volya beach features a canteen.

Agia Dinami: Paradise bay with exotic waters and tranquil energy

An unregulated beach with small pebbles and sand, surrounded by rocky formations. It features exotic turquoise, blue-green and blue water. It is quiet, almost deserted, pristine and looks like a small paradise. It takes its name from an adjacent chapel. It is worth a visit as an attraction, but also for a delightful and serene bath!

Access: Agia Dynami beach is located in the village of Olympi, 11 km from Mesta and is easily accessible by car, or motorbike from the asphalt road. You will find it after the cave of Olympi, while with a little walk to the rocks you can find yourself at a nearby, even quieter beach.

Food: Within walking distance, there are no taverns, but at the cave of Olympi there is a café, offering coffee and snacks, providing the possibility of delivery to the beach.

Note: The delivery number is displayed on a discreet wooden sign that you will see on the beach.

Kato Phana beach

An unregulated sandy beach with calm, clear waters that deepen gradually. Ideal for families with children and for visitors interested in archaeological sites, as just before the beach there is the Temple of Apollo!

Access: Kato Fana beach is located in the southern part of the island, near the village of Pyrgi, 11 km from Mesta and is easily accessible by car, or motorbike from an asphalt road and a good dirt road.

Food: Within walking distance, there are no taverns or cafes, so you should bring food and water.
